1. Boston-Dnipro organizations
Education Resource Center
Amidst the turmoil of war, Action-PSJ emerged as a beacon of hope. In collaboration with the ERC, we dispatched emergency grants, a lifeline satellite phone, and vital food and medical supplies. With the heart and hands of devoted volunteers, they crafted unique activity kits, tailoring each to children of diverse abilities. Their story is one of unwavering support and compassion.
Beit Baruch
In the shadows of adversity, the elderly and displaced seniors often feel the weight the most. Recognizing this, Action-PSJ stepped in, becoming their pillar of strength. We delivered not just essential medical supplies and personal care items, but also cards filled with words of hope and warmth. Our gesture was more than just aid; it was a message of enduring love and solace.
Jewish Community Center of Dnipro
In a time when needs were vast, the center became a beacon of relief. From the tiniest members with diapers and formula to the eldest with essential supplies, they ensured no one was left wanting. Amidst the challenges, Action-PSJ provided emergency food, vital medicine, and warm kosher dinners, weaving a tapestry of care and community.
Jewish Medical Center

From life-saving equipment like clotting bandages to remote consultations for the elderly and displaced in distant regions, their alliance became a beacon of hope. In the face of adversity, their partnership ensures that quality healthcare remains within reach for all.
Jewish Big Brother Big Sister Program
Teaming up with Boston's temples and esteemed institutions like The Rashi School, Action for Post-Soviet Jewry dispatched backpacks brimming with engaging activity kits to children in need. As winter's cold tightened its grip, they sent forth heat packets, clothing layers, and hand and foot warmers, ensuring young hearts remained both engaged and warm. Their efforts wove a tapestry of care and community.
Visiting Moms
As war's shadow loomed, Action-PSJ sprang into action, ensuring families with infants and toddlers weren't left in the lurch. Diapers and formula were sent in abundance, addressing immediate needs. With the gracious support of a local boutique business, a steady stream of warm blankets and essential supplies for infants, toddlers, and new mothers flowed monthly. In the face of adversity, their dedication to cradling the community's youngest remains steadfast and heartwarming.
Jewish Day & Preschools
Amid the backdrop of rocket fire, new bomb shelters, and surging inflation, over 600 backpacks filled with school supplies were dispatched to uplift students. Generous donors marked the school year's onset with hope and resilience. These tools facilitated a return to classrooms for many after prolonged absences. At Action-PSJ, our commitment extended beyond education, providing headlights and essentials to ensure a safe learning environment throughout the war.
Established in 2013, this foundation has been a beacon for the socially vulnerable, the impoverished, and the isolated. Partnering with Action-PSJ, they've facilitated the distribution of vital supplies like heaters and blankets across Ukraine. Together, we've dispatched hundreds of aid boxes, filled with essentials from soup bags to medicines. Our combined endeavors have been key in providing crucial support and creating a tangible difference for those in dire straits.
Located at the Union Council of Soviet Jewry’s Bureau in Lviv, this soup kitchen stands as a cornerstone of a new refugee center aiding those arriving at Ukraine's western border. In a pivotal move, we dispatched EMT-level emergency supplies to field paramedics. These kits, brimming with life-saving equipment, became indispensable tools for hundreds of front-line workers. Amidst the war's trials, they empowered these heroes to offer essential aid when it mattered most.

Beyond that, we've reached out to some of Ukraine's hardest-hit regions, delivering adult incontinence supplies, medical provisions, and food bags to areas deeply scarred by bombings.
Our alliance with JTI stands as a testament to the power of unity and purpose. Dedicated to uplifting teens in Greater Boston, JTI's swift response to the Ukrainian conflict was commendable. Together, we orchestrated two monumental teen events, enlightening hundreds about Jewish Ukraine's heritage and the urgent needs stemming from the war. The events culminated in assembling over 1000 emergency packs for the elderly and displaced, symbolizing collective empathy and action. This collaboration not only inspired other groups to rally for the cause but also underscored our mutual dedication to instilling values of community and activism in the youth. Through our efforts, we're not just aiding the present but shaping a future where teens are driven to make impactful changes.
Standing as a global vanguard in peer-led Jewish young adult engagement, Moishe House is a hub of vibrant Jewish programming. It's a space where young adults craft their own Jewish narratives and connect deeply with their heritage. The Boston Russian Moishe House's collaboration with Action-PSJ was pivotal during the war. They hosted an enlightening brunch and an emergency supplies drive, with residents actively participating in collecting essential items. Their commitment showcases the profound impact of community-driven initiatives during trying times.
