Friends,
Together we help the communities, partner programs, and the thousands of people we impact in Ukraine, not only survive the war but survive with dignity.
With the recent onslaught of missile attacks, many of our communities now directly feel the effect of Russia’s invasion. Russia brutally attacked Dnipro, where Action-PSJ is headquartered, the sister city to Boston’s Jewish community, and where many of Action-PSJ’s partner organizations are based. Our smaller communities are now targets of Russia’s missiles, and more civilian locations, like hospitals and apartment buildings, are being hit. There are also reports of activity in Berdaynsk and Mariupol-two of the three Action-PSJ communities already under Russian control. (Links to news reports are at the end of this email)
Action-PSJ’s Ukraine-based Community Coordinators report hearing the explosions and feeling the vibrations of the impact. Anxiety levels are high. Electricity and utility blackouts are happening again.
The resilience and resolve of our colleagues, friends, and community in Ukraine never cease to amaze us. We stand in support of them.
All of us at Action-PSJ from our Boston and Ukraine-based operations are very grateful to you and your continuous support, especially now.
We want to thank you and let you know how important your partnership with Action-PSJ is.
Please take a look at the note below.
