\u00a0As we continue our critical work in Ukraine, we are deeply concerned about the increasing number of individuals falling into the aid gap\u2014those who are in urgent need but may not be reached through large-scale humanitarian efforts.<\/p>

We Pray We\u2019ll Wake Up in the Morning” \u2013 Urgent Need in Ukraine<\/strong><\/p>

You wake up to darkness. The sirens scream. In the distance, explosions shake the earth. This isn\u2019t a nightmare\u2014it\u2019s daily life in Ukraine.<\/p>

Ella, our project director on the ground, describes the growing desperation. \u201cEvery night, we pray we\u2019ll wake up in the morning,\u201d<\/em> she told us. \u201cPeople are hungry, exhausted, and losing hope.\u201d<\/em> With relentless missile and drone strikes, soaring inflation, and dwindling resources, survival is becoming harder by the day.\u00a0 Please take a few minutes to watch Ella describe life in Ukraine in the video link below.\u00a0<\/p>

Now, with U.S. humanitarian aid hanging in the balance, the crisis is deepening. While Action-PSJ does not receive this aid directly, the ripple effect is undeniable. More people\u2014especially the elderly\u2014are slipping through the cracks, left vulnerable and without essential support.<\/p>

\u00a0We cannot turn away.<\/strong> Despite the fear and hardship, the people of Ukraine refuse to give up. And neither will we.<\/p>
