Dear Friends,
As we continue our critical work in Ukraine, we are deeply concerned about the increasing number of individuals falling into the aid gap—those who are in urgent need but may not be reached through large-scale humanitarian efforts.
We Pray We’ll Wake Up in the Morning” – Urgent Need in Ukraine
You wake up to darkness. The sirens scream. In the distance, explosions shake the earth. This isn’t a nightmare—it’s daily life in Ukraine.
Ella, our project director on the ground, describes the growing desperation. “Every night, we pray we’ll wake up in the morning,” she told us. “People are hungry, exhausted, and losing hope.” With relentless missile and drone strikes, soaring inflation, and dwindling resources, survival is becoming harder by the day. Please take a few minutes to watch Ella describe life in Ukraine in the video link below.
Now, with U.S. humanitarian aid hanging in the balance, the crisis is deepening. While Action-PSJ does not receive this aid directly, the ripple effect is undeniable. More people—especially the elderly—are slipping through the cracks, left vulnerable and without essential support.
We cannot turn away. Despite the fear and hardship, the people of Ukraine refuse to give up. And neither will we.
You can make a difference today.
✅ $25 can help provide food for an elderly person struggling to survive.
✅ $50 can bring warmth and essentials to those left behind.
✅ $250 can provide life-saving medications and critical aid for the most vulnerable.
Please give, share, and spread awareness. The people of Ukraine cannot wait.
Your ongoing support is more important than ever. With your help, we can continue providing essential aid to those in need and ensure they are not overlooked during these uncertain times.
Thank you for standing with us in this critical mission. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
With gratitude,
Executive Director
Action for Post-Soviet Jewry
