Dear Friends,
As we enter the year 5785, our hearts remain with our communities in Ukraine and Israel as war continues to shape their everyday lives. In Ukraine, for the third year, we prepare to observe the Jewish High Holidays against the backdrop of war. The endurance and strength of these communities inspire us, even as they face continued threats and hardships.
In this time of reflection, Action-PSJ’s humanitarian mission offers not just aid, but a partnership of hope. Together, we ensure that even amidst war and antisemitism, those in need are not forgotten. By supporting this vital work, you honor the memory of those we’ve lost and stand with those still struggling. Your commitment provides life-saving aid to elders and families who need it most.
For 50 years, Action-PSJ has been a lifeline for Jewish families and elders in Ukraine. Through political persecution, antisemitism, a global pandemic, and now war, our work has remained rooted in resilience and a commitment to care for the most vulnerable. We stand firm in our grassroots mission, ensuring that our efforts reflect the voices and needs of those we serve.
Thanks to your generosity, we continue to be a beacon of light. Rooted in tikkun olam, our shared work restores hope, resilience, and dignity to those left in the shadows of history. Together, we are not only safeguarding Jewish history but also shaping a future where every life is valued and protected.
As we begin our High Holy Day celebrations, we send our heartfelt wishes for a New Year filled with light, hope, peace, health, and possibility.
With much gratitude,
The board and staff of Action for Post-Soviet
